Purpose
The Unions module manages union agreements and specialized rules that affect how gross payroll is calculated.
⚠️ Customization Required: This module provides a foundation for managing union payroll rules, but is not designed to work out of the box. Union calculations vary significantly between agreements, locals, and jurisdictions. TRUE ERP support will work with your organization to customize the rules engine based on your specific union contracts and calculation requirements.

Rules Fields

| Skill Level |
Dropdown — associates this rule with one of the skill levels entered above (e.g., Apprentice). |
| Dues / Benefits |
Two checkboxes (no amount field) — flags whether this rule applies to dues and/or benefits calculations. |
| Per Hour |
A checkbox paired with an amount field — when checked, the rule applies a fixed dollar amount per hour (e.g., 5.00). |
| % Gross Wages |
A checkbox paired with an amount field — when checked, the rule applies a percentage of gross wages instead of a per-hour amount. Per Hour and % Gross Wages are mutually exclusive calculation modes for the same rule. |

Dropdown — the ledger account this rule's liability posts to. |

Dropdown — the ledger account this rule's expense posts to. |
